God Can Use YOU Too

God*s plan of salvation is not something that any mortal man would have come up with. First He sent His Son to die for us and for our sins. The Holy Spirit saved a few depraved sinners and made them into new creatures. He speaks to other lost sinners through the Bible and through the voices of the ones He made into new creatures. The new creatures speak to the ears and minds of other depraved sinners. While they are doing that the Holy Spirit speaks to the hearts of the other depraved sinners and convinces them that they are sinners who need to receive Jesus and become new creatures and useful to God too. It is remarkable that God trusts mortal men with the gospel who had been depraved sinners and who are still capable of walking in the flesh, being unwise, disobedient, fleshly and carnal.

1 Thessalonians 2:4: But as we were allowed of God to be put in trust with the gospel, even so we speak; not as pleasing men, but God, which trieth our hearts.

Romans 10:13-14: For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. 14 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?

1 Corinthians 1:21: For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.

I trust that some of the following passages will convince you that God wants to use you, can use you and that you will be willing to be His instrument. Becoming saved and becoming one of God*s instruments has been the most wonderful thing that ever happened to me. Since He didn*t save you and instantly take you to Heaven, He wants you to be one of His instruments too. If you have not had the experience of being used by the Lord I feel sorry for you.

Matthew 4:19: And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.

Matthew 5:13a, 14a: Ye are the salt of the earth: . . . 14: Ye are the light of the world. . . .

Mark 16:15: And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

John 7:38: He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.

Acts 1:8: But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

1 Corinthians 3:9: For we are labourers together with God: . . .

Ephesians 2:10: For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

2 Timothy 4:2: Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.

2 Peter 1:5-8: And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; 6 And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; 7 And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity. 8 For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Revelation 12:11a: And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; . . .

Isaiah 6:8: Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.
